Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) emerged as Pakistan's sole authority for water and power development. Operating as an integrated monopoly, it managed the entire value chain—from generation and transmission to distribution and retail supply—under one unified structure.
Managed comprehensive frameworks to connect and harmonize disparate ERP systems including Oracle, Great Plains, and SAP, utilizing robust middleware to ensure seamless data flow. This involved overseeing complex, high-accuracy data migrations with minimal operational downtime and developing custom interfaces. To overcome user resistance and ensure adoption, I led targeted training and support initiatives while enforcing compliance with regional financial regulations and audit requirements. The implementation enabled real-time data synchronization and empowered finance and operations through dynamic reporting dashboards, supported by continuous post go-live monitoring and iterative enhancements for sustained system performance.
Served for five years as Quality Director at Crowe Horwath UAE, a role that functioned as the firm's de facto Group Quality Director. In this capacity, oversaw firm-wide auditing and assurance standards, driving the implementation of transformation methodologies for the analysis and presentation of financial statements based on IFRS. Concurrently, also served as a Partner - Audit & Assurance in the Abu Dhabi branch, leading complex client engagements. A key aspect of your leadership included managing reviews of audit quality, a critical function aligned with external oversight from professional bodies like ACCA, ensuring the firm's practices met the highest international and regional benchmarks. Dual roles placed at the center of both setting the strategic quality framework and executing premium audit services for the firm's clients.

Through engagements at international conferences, diplomatic forums, and media outlets, we aimed to promote harmonization, transparency, and the integration of Sharia-based ethics into cross-border transactions, arbitration, and sustainability goals. This experience positioned me at the intersection of strategic advocacy, stakeholder dialogue, and thought leadership, contributing to broader efforts to align Islamic finance with global economic and ethical standards.
Adeveloping a specialized system for an Oil Distributor, managing critical logistics, bulk inventory, safety compliance, and dynamic pricing. For a Honda Showroom Distributor, the solution integrated end-to-end automotive operations, from vehicle procurement, spare parts inventory, and sales finance to after-sales service management. Additionally, for DHA Multan, Oakland Villas, Montoro Realestate and ApnaGhar a major real estate development authority, the ERP was tailored to manage large-scale property sales, customer portals, utility billing, land management, and project accounting. Each implementation focused on streamlining core workflows, providing real-time operational visibility, and delivering robust, sector-specific functionality to drive efficiency and strategic decision-making.
